In its first episode, Working Women Moving Forward introduces us to Dania Obando, general secretary of the Union of Palm Workers (SITRAPA) of Costa Rica.
Since Dania took up her position in the organization’s steering committee in 2019, the union has not stopped growing thanks to her courage, perseverance, and hard work.
In this video, she talks about what a normal day at work is like for her, how she still has not managed to overcome the company’s denial to grant union hours to fulfill her task of organizing the workers, and why, in spite of it all, nothing can make her back down in her struggle.
